Thames & Tudor Life
Teachers looking to take their pupils on a full day out might be interested in combining a visit to The Golden Hinde with the Thames Explorer Trust’s guided walking trail for KS2 pupils - Thames & Tudor Life - which starts and ends very close to the ship.
By walking along the Thames, pupils will discover what life was like in Tudor times through clues in the local environment that are still visible today. They will also be given the opportunity to search the river’s foreshore for objects - such as clay pipes and oyster shells - left by the city’s previous inhabitants.
