Launching Escape from The Golden Hinde

One evening recently on the banks of the River Thames there was a ship in a time warp. It was full of 16th Century pirates and a disco mirror-ball. Immersive theatre and brain bending puzzles kept attendees concentrating on the clues to unlock puzzles before emerging in the bowels of the ship for a 1970s party.

It was also possible for guests to touch and feel some of the ship’s Elizabethan navigational instruments. Crewmembers of The Golden Hinde gave explanations of the history of each one and how and when to use it.
